WHY US?

The ITI is dedicated to delivering holistic workplace professional, vocational, educational, and capacity development solutions to better the performance of individuals and groups within the organizations. We also do capacity development solutions through training, software development, and sales. The services offered by the ITI Consultancy Unit are divided into three (3) broad categories, namely: Service Consultancy, Contract Research, Training and Capacity Building, described as follows:

  1. Service Consultancy: ITI provides expert professional advice in specific areas the client identifies based on client requirements and specifications. Some services in this area include management and business advisory services, information technology services, risk management and advisory services, enterprise risk management services, standardization and compliance services, and strategic planning services. We apply these services to the capacity development programs and courses, as shown below.
  2. Contract Research: These are services which revolve around research-based consultancy services which lead to the generation of new knowledge, synthesis, and analysis of existing knowledge to formulate new creative concepts, innovations, designs, methodologies, understandings, applications, and solutions for specified problems on mutually agreed terms and conditions. Services in this category include monitoring and evaluation services, tracer studies, baseline surveys, training needs assessments, customer and employee satisfaction, work environment assessments, development programs, impact assessments studies and market surveys.

 

    1. Training and Capacity Development: ITI provides tailor-made in-service courses lasting a few days to several weeks. The training aims to improve knowledge, skills, and competence, resulting in better performance and high professional productivity. Courses offered are delivered by qualified professionals from relevant disciplines and specializations.

Certifications:

After successful completion of the training ITI will issue every participant with a
completion Certificate.

Training methodology

The training will use participatory adult learning approaches. Additionally, PowerPoint presentations, lectures and hands-on practical work will be ensured. Elaborate session plans will be developed by the facilitators and reviewed to ensure they align with the anticipated workshop approach.

Pre-Training

ITI proposes to conduct a user needs assessment for each of the participants before the training,it will be in the form of a pre training assessment questionnaire which will capture the needs and expectations of the trainees and guide in the adjustment of the final program.

During the Training

ITI propose to use instructor led trainings which will be delivered using a blended learning approach which comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web-based tutorials, group work, Case studies, Brainstorming, Buzz method, Power Point Presentations, Discussions and Audio Visuals.

ITI will conduct an end of course evaluation to assess the success of the training. All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English.

Post Training

After the training ITI propose to conduct post training evaluation assessment as a follow up on the action plans and to evaluate the success of the training with reference to application  of knowledge acquired at the workplace. This will ensure that the action plans developed during the training are being adhered to and to ensure that the needs of the clients were met during the training.

Post Training Support

ITI stress the need for consistent dialogue and cares for the development of each individual. With this knowledge in mind, the ITI team of experts will be available to the trainees for consultations after the training.
